Teachers and heads of institutions from over schools under the Church of South India gathered in the Bishop Cotton Boys’ School premises for the joint celebration of Teacher’s Day of the Karnataka Central Diocese. The Most Rev. Bishop S.Vasanthakumar , Moderator Church of South India and Chairman of the Board addressed the teachers about the role a teacher plays and also the significance of Teacher’s Day. Members of the Board of Management were also present for the celebration. Rahael Mathew and her group enthralled the audience with a stellar performance of popular songs and ballads. All in all, it was a day of enjoyment for teachers. A day set aside where they have fun outside the classrooms.
The students of the school showed their gratitude and respect by putting up a special program for them on the 9th of September. Every teacher was presented with a flower as a token of our appreciation.
