Music
We play a variety of music. Mainly Alternative Rock, also Hard Rock And Heavy Metal. The band have already finished composing an album to be titled “The Sign Of Things To Come” in 2006, but plan to record it only in the summer of 2007, due to academic commitments. It is predominantly alternative but also contains quite a large punk-rock influence. It includes tracks such as “Out Of Step”, “Drown” and “illusion” to name a few. Our influences are Guns N Roses, Iron Maiden, Greenday, Dream Theater, Led Zeppelin, Alter Bridge, Audioslave, U2 and a whole host of other artists and bands.
“Drown” is a strong reflection of the band’s work, it speaks of coping with tough situations that we face everyday, when we sometimes don’t know what to do or where to turn, when everything goes blank and shuts off, we should learn to look within ourselves and find the hope and courage to give it our all when it really counts. We must change with the world so that we won’t be left trailing dust. Because we believe we were born to make a difference.
About The Band
One thing we are known for is having and bringing a lot of fun wherever we go! We have now been a band for about three years and grown immensely close, to the extent that we regard each other as brothers. Being a part of that band has helped us expand our horizons and also discover common interests (we all LOVE FOOD!!!). We love getting on stage and performing anytime and at any place!!
As Anuj puts it, “bUnK-14 - great music, amazing songs, great band members, all in all, an awesome experience knowing them!” . We have a very supportive circle of friends and I must say that we are really grateful to God, this institution and everyone who helped us get to where we are today. Its been an awe inspiring experience, right from the beginning. We have always had a blast, and the Band has added an exciting, exhilarating dimension to our lives. Though we have a long way ahead of us, we always learn from our mistakes and everything around us – persevering with our instruments and lyrics, trying to improve at all the times because its never too early to make a change for the better!
